Question of the day: Can you cut or repair tempered glass?
It is not possible to cut tempered glass as it will cause the piece of glass to shatter. However it is possible to repair a piece of tempered glass through grinding. The grinding must be minimal. If it is too excessive, it will also cause the glass to shatter or cause it to shatter later on. A tempered glass has constant pressure on it and grinding it will only increase the pressure causing it to become more unstable. Stay tuned for more everyday questions about glass.
